The panic threatens to swallow me whole sometimes. The uncertainty. The unknown. I try to breathe through it but my breath gets stuck in my chest. A wild thing clawing at my heart.
Distraction is the only cure. I read passages from my favorite book. I play Mario Party with my daughter. And find my breath again.
