Reading: Magical Midlife Battle

Started reading the 9th book in this series today.

It's taking me a bit to get reacquainted with what is going on in the story. I still love the characters but I've forgotten what happened in the 8th book.

It means some things are surprising and/or confusing. I cannot for the life of me remember who Mimi is or when Jessie met her. Or what happened at Edgar's flower show. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'm tempted to re-read the previous book to refresh my brain. But any extra steps to my reading process and I'll never read anything at all.

I have enough faith in this author that my memory will be jogged before long.

I'll update this post with any other random thoughts as I go. 🤣
