Started with this cheetah print sweater. I hated the way the front seam would twist.

I removed every tag because I hate them. Then took off all the buttons. Had to use embroidery scissors because every seam ripper I own is missing. 🤦♀️
Had a delightful time ripping the machine apart because the thread ate itself. While it was apart I gave it a quick vacuum. Then reassembled the damn thing. I love my machine. I never service the poor bastard until it is cannibalizing thread. Which happens rarely because this BabyLock is a beast that just keeps going in spite of my ineptitude. Buy the better machine. It's worth it.

Satin edge binding is one of my favorite things. This is leftover from tiny minion's quilt I made years ago. Maybe someday the minions will appreciate the handmade items their momma made them. Right now most of their quilts are in closets. Sigh.

The final piece. The thread tension is 7 kinds of wrong. The stitching uneven. I fucked up the finishing on one side. But I'm happy with it. It is currently in the wash to see if the stitches will fix themselves. The satin binding is still stiff so it needs some washer dryer abuse to make it chill the fuck out.
Medium minion asked if it was a bath robe and then backtracked to say it's totally my style. Win? 🤣
